Bristol Film Studios is an air-conditioned, sound stage all-digital facility, housing 2 main studios with 14,000 sq. ft. space and one of the top Chromatte Virtual Studios in Europe, with inside parking and plenty of unrestricted outside parking.

We undertake full production projects for both broadcast and commercial clients. Studio staff have worked on programmes for all of the major broadcasters and various blue-chip companies.

We have particular expertise with documentaries and features, promotional videos, music videos, product films, stills photography, editing and post-production and DVD replication and authoring.

Bristol Film Studios have just finished filming and are now in post-production on a 1 hour special for ITV entitled 'The Orient Run'.

The Orient Run is a film that captures the breakneck tension and drama of Jonathan Turner’s attempt to race The Orient Express in his 1956 Jaguar D-type, across Europe to see who can reach Venice first.

Renowned TV presenter, Jason Dawe, boarded the Orient Express in London and stayed with it until Venice. On his journey he met many of the people who brought this adventure into being.

Bristol Film Studios has just purchased Sony PMW-EX3 HD cameras as part of our range of equipment.

The PMW-EX3 combines a state-of-the-art, non-linear XDCAM workflow with simply the best HD quality yet seen in a semi-shoulder camcorder.

It is also the first semi-shoulder camcorder to carry the legendary CineAlta 24P brand with multiple frame rate recording capability such as 59.94i, 50i, and native 23.98P, as well being 1080i/720P switchable.

Bristol Film Studios now offers Red Digital Cinema hire from £150 per day. We also offer camera training at our studios. The Red Digital Cinema Camera Company manufactures digital cinematography cameras and accessories for professional and cinematic use. The company's main product is the Red One.

EASY2INSURE ADVERT FOR ITV

Bristol Film Studios would like to extend its condolences to the family of Fred Wedlock, folk singer and comedian, who died on Thursday 4th March 2010. He did the voices for this advert and was a true professional, talented and a lovely man.

The television advert for insurance brokers Easy2Insure, shown on ITV, was created by Bristol Film Studios' animation department. The advert is based upon the fairy tale 'The Three Little Pigs'.

ZUBWORLD

Bristol Film Studios has recently comleted an animated advertisement for the company, which can be seen on the tour page of the Zubworld website. Zubworld is an online social network service that allows you to either follow or purchase your favourite places, build communities around them, and become a virtual tycoon.

DUOTECH CORPORATE VIDEO

Bristol Film Studios were commissioned to produce a corporate video to promote Duotech's DuoMax environmentally safe cleaning products. DuoMax is a comprehensive range of infection control products designed to clean and disinfect in any environment where good infection control is a necessity. CLICK HERE to view the video.

The video is a further extension of the services that Bristol Film Studios can supply as we were initially asked to create the branding and bottle labels for DuoMax from which an increased market presence was established.

CHARITY POP VIDEO

Bristol Film Studios' P. A. Laura Oatway has recently appeared in a charity pop video for the song 'My Christmas To You', for Shooting Star Children's Hospice, organised by 'Mr. Christmas' Andy Park. The video also stars former Radio 1 DJ's 'Diddy' David Hamilton and Mike Reid, along with Slade's guitarist Dave Hill.

The Shooting Star Children's Hospice provides care, support and advice for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.

CLASSIC GEAR

We are pleased to announce that Bristol Film Studios', fast paced car series, Classic Gear was one of the highest BARB rated programmes on ITV4 and Men & Motors.

Classic Gear is a 10 x 1 hour series which looks closely at both classical historic cars and modern automobiles which will eventually be classed as historical.

Featuring presenters Jason Dawe, Penny Mallory, Chris Serle and Alice Crocker.
