Bristol Films Studios was commissioned by ITV Digital to make a one-off programme of the 79th Geneva Motor Show in 2009, for Men & Motors.
The show was presented by Penny Mallory and Jason Dawe.
The Geneva Motor Show, held in Switzerland, is one of the most glamorous and certainly the most important motor show in the European calendar. As the 2nd biggest auto show, after Detroit, the Geneva show is traditionally a way for the world's automotive makers to show off new production vehicles and design concepts.
First held in 1905, the Geneva Motor Show has hosted almost all major internal combustion engined models in the history of the automobile, along with benzene and steam-powered cars from the beginning of the century. Exotic supercars often steal the spotlight during their debuts at the show. Prototypes, new equipment, technical breakthroughs, international partnerships, as well as political and social debates, have been announced at the exhibition. |
